Our-Packing premises are located near the fields where the Lis Tomato plantations are located. There the product is prepared to be exported. The premises are totally equipped and mechanised. There is an automated line for selection and packing on which tomatoes are classified and separated according to three different characteristics, size, weight and colour. For classifying the tomatoes by colour, at Lis we have the definitive working instrument, OPTISCAN 2000, the most modern optic system for classifying the product by colour.

Subsequently, the classification process is followed by the pre-cooling process using the refrigeration equipment the premises are equipped with. All these processes are under the constant supervision of the company staff, who perform exhaustive quality checks, both on the packing line and during the rest of processes being carried out. In this way the appropriate conditions of food safety and hygiene are guaranteed. To achieve optimum quality control at Lis we use approved and recyclable materials as required by the regulations of the European Union. So production reaches the market and then the consumer complying with all the quality requirements in force.
