Tomato growing is currently the main activity of Lis, which is located in the province of Alicante. The company has 500,000m2 of production structures employing the most modern growing techniques and practices which respect the environment. Plantations are programmed so that the tomato grows under a covering of net during the milder seasons of the year such as spring, summer and autumn and with plastic protection for tomato growth during the winter season. The tomato production process begins with the selection of the best naturally hybrid seeds.

Growing techniques used in the fields are aimed at obtaining a traditional quality product which combines the characteristics the modern consumer expects, such as flavour, freshness and food safety guarantees for the product.
